Ingredients
Salmon | 1 lb |
Turmeric Powder | 1 pinch |
Chili Powder | 1 teaspoon |
Coriander Powder | 2 teaspoons |
Pepper Powder | 1 teaspoon |
Fish Fry Masala | 2 teaspoons (if available) |
Cumin Seeds | 1 teaspoon |
Coriander Leaves | |
Curry Leaves | |
Lemon (or Lemon Juice) |
Preparation
- Cut the salmon into 1-1.5 inch cubes. I prefer to use the frozen salmon from Costco.
- Place the fish cubes in a mixing bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, lemon juice, some oil and mix nicely. If you have a fish fry masala, add it. Otherwise increase the other powders by a bit. Leave this aside for half an hour.
- In a frying pan, add oil just enough to cover the pan. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds.
- Fry the salmon on the pan, turning it 2-3 times, until it is fried to golden brown.
